Ok I have to set this straight for some people. Many CFers have "MRSA" from what I heard around from all my Cf buddies, MRSA is a very bad staph infection that attacks the lungs causing major lung complications, I though I had MRSA for a few hours one time when I was having a clean out, my DR. came and told me that my meds are being changed, so I asked how come and he then told me I have Multi Resistent Psudemonus Areginosa, Psudemonus sounds like Sudemonus right, well Im sitting there thinking I have MRSA which after 3 hours of thinking the worst things I asked to speak with my DR. he came up to my room and explained it to me, I have Psudemonus in my lungs that have colinized, taking the meds I have for so long caused me to have more bugs then before, over time this happens, he then said theres because of that 2 or more types of antibiotics will not be usefull, though it could be in the future meaning after my next culture, so there for I have Multi Drug Resisent Psudemonus Areginossa MDRPA, not MRSA. I have alot of frinds with Cf who thought the same thing I did some of them for years thought they had MRSA which is Methicillin Resistent Staphacoculus Aures, So plaesa do your self a favor if you think you have it and ask your doctor what type you have, its better to know you dont have it so you can be strong mentally and not have that stress, just thought I would share that since I have found out that 10 of the Cfers I thought had it dont and they have MDRPA, which is great news for all of them. This is a good point.

I also have a resistant strain of PA in addition to my original strain as well as MRSA....

Many people on here are learning that they need to clarify things when it comes to the culture/lab results because of lack of communication &/or knowledge on, possibly, both parts!

You're exactly on point, no one really knows what they have and in my mind I would be sicker if I didnt know, knowing helps you better prepare your self for a nasty infection or when you just in the mall, things like washing your hands deffinetly comes in handy, lol. People really need to put a stop on things getting worse for them before its to late and knowing is the only way. Thanks for the reply, MikeG.
