Do your hands wrinkle excessively when you swim?

I am an avid swimmer, snorkler and scuba diver. I spend as much time in the water as I can and my hands look like 100 year old mans hands after about 15 minutes in the water.

I suspect this has to do with CF (salt content of our sweat) but have never heard anyone mention this.

Have others with CF noticed this or am I unique in this respect? Perhaps it has nothing to do with CF.

it's a cf thing, you're right, it has to do with our salt imbalance... so funny how it happens, like 2 seconds of water contact and i'm pruned up. if you search through this site, you'll find a bunch of posts on this phenomenon!

Me! Me! You'll also notice this phenomenon with respect to glasses! Have you ever noticed that your wine glass is the only one that looks cloudy on the outside! That's why!

Yes, they wrinkle excessively, to the extent that it is painful. It also happens when I shower and I avoid baths completely because of the wrinkling. I also always use gloves when washing the dishes or doing anything where my hands are submerged in water for any period of time.
