Does anyone else freak out when things get tough

OK everyone I want to know at points in your life just before we get sick do anyone else stress level ever make them do stupid things that you later regrete but you cant change no matter how much you want to

Sure, many times. I don't need to have a lot of pressure on me or to be about to get sick to do stupid things, however I do different kinds of stupid things according to those situations...

When I'm good and I've been so for a while I usually do silly things that put me in a ridicolous position. When I'm overstressed, I usually lose my temper and I end up giving up some duties although later on that will hit back on me. When I'm getting sick, I either wait too long before aknowledging it, or I just become unbearable for anyone around me - and for myself.

I'm just eighteen but I can't count how many things I would've not done or done in another way... but there is no help with that. I guess this is life, in the end.

This decribes me to a tee and I am older 55 years young!I tend to do things fast like mail a package early for a birthday or pay a bill because i think if I get sick or cant do it I will get a shut off notice.I have been doing this patteren for a while now because I have been so sick when I wanted to do something and have gotten a collasped lung and wish I would be able to and it just makes me feel if I do it sooner then I didnt miss out I wonder if others do this I am thinking not so much, but having CF has affected me in this way.

Excuse me, live2breath, but this forum is about CF, and what you are talking about has nothing to do with it. Just joking!! who hasnt chased a friend's girlfriend in his life??? if a man doesnt ever do it , specially in his high school years, he probably has some hormonal problem or something. Dont feel guilty about it (or better said, dont feel very guilty), it is just something stupid we all (CFers or not) have to go through in order to become adults who understand how stupid is doing things like that.
