Dumbest question ever, I know!

I know it's an ignorant question and I should know the answer, but I'm tired of wondering...

What does DH, DD, etc. stand for? I can get that the last initial stands for husband, daughter, etc (at least that's what I have assumed), but what about the first D? What does that stand for? I have been on this website for the better part of a few years and have probably always wondered but felt like a fool asking...And I thought I was somewhat computer savvy, but I suppose I was wrong...lol

Anyway, if someone would enlighten me, I'd appreciate it!

I'm assuming DH = darling husband, DS = darling son

Correct me if I'm wrong though, if I am I'll feel a little silly.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

DUH! lol... I knew that's what I'd feel after asking, but at least I don't have to wonder anymore. I swear, I tried so hard to figure that one out and it is so simple... I guess I was making it too difficult. Since we're on a medical theme here all I could think of that started with a D was "diagnosed" but that didn't make sense because sometimes people would talk about spouses or children who do not have CF...

Anyway, thanks for clarifying that for me!

Well- acoording to how Im feeling about my husband at any given moment it could be dear, darling, dumb, darn or worse. lol Susan

Hi Amanda! Nice to hear from you. Yes, I do believe I still have your e-mail address. I'm getting ready for work right now but I'll look this evening when I get home and drop you a line. The kids are doing very well, btw. Kacie had a rough year with her sinuses (several surgeries) but she's been perfect for the last couple of months so we're hopeful that she will stay well for a while.

I will check in with you later via e-mail.
