effect of steriods on the brain

hi guys,
Ok i am a non cfer but strangly i come on here instead of my bf who has cf anyway he asked me to post a topic on the efects steriods have on the brain.
I don't really understand what he means by that but i'm posting it anyway. He had a test recently to see the levels of a ceratin steriod naturally found in the body which brings on appetite. As of now he has none only when he's on steriods(he's on a very high dose 40 somethig or other!!) which he is now cos he's on iv's. Anyways the test came back clear. Not sure if this has anything to do with why he asked me to post this but it might mean somethign to you guys

i should mention he's on delta courtison( i think thats how you spell it)and i was right he's was to know what the effect steriods have on the brain in relation to appitite

I was on corticosteroids continually when I was going through puberty(the time that it would have effected the body the most). I don't know which way you are heading with it but my IQ is/was 153...well let me qualify that, it was 153 before I went to college and did some recreational drugs so it may be less now!
