eflow questions

Our doctor deferred our question to the nurses. They said the clinic is not using or recommending eflow because its not FDA approved.

Is our clinic behind the times, or just cautious?

If its not FDA approved, why are other docs/clinics pushing it?

Where did Amy's eflow blog go? I could only find the post eflow blogs.

Your clinic is wrong, it was FDA approved in 2004. If they try to tell you no meds are approved for it, meds do not need to approved for use with nebulizers or any medical equipment for that matter.

Amy's january 22, 2007 blog has the studies.

and this link should give you all the tech data and approvals for it.

I don't want to sound like a snot, but I go to Yale (I know not the best, but it's a pretty well-respected name), and my doc outright suggested the eFlow for me. It's currently in the process of getting approved by insurance, and should probably be here in a week or two.

Hmmm, thanks Chris. I can't get back to Amy's Jan 22 blog. I can only get back to March. What's the trick?

I wonder if they meant its not approved for children?
