Egg retrieval scheduled! YEAHHHHH

Well I went in today for an ultrasound to see where I am at.

Lining is 9.9
10 eggs all size 14 or better (1 was at 20, 2 were 18's)

Trigger shot: Tonight at 9pm central time
Start antibiotic tommorow (Doxycycline)
Egg retrieval Thursday at 8am
Transfer: Sunday (time still pending)
First Pregnancy test: May 30th (2 days after our first wedding anniversery)

Now I am drinking tons of water, nervous as heck about retrieval praying so hard this will work!

Great eggie report! Fantastic news. Good luck with the trigger shot. I'm assuming it's IM in the booty? (just like PIO?) I did have a sub-q trigger for my IVF. But most people don't. Doxy makes me nauseous, so if you feel nauseous, that might be why. Not sure how common that side effect is. I'll be thinking about you on Thursday morning. Good luck!

I will be on Doxy for 5 days starting tommorrow twice a day! How many embies did you freeze and how many did they get out of you? How old are you?

My trigger shot will be in my stomache. I did the same thing when I had my iui.. Tara you are my hero right now! I can't believe you had so many eggs. I have ten probably more and am feeling it! Plus u gave birth to twins.. Wow, what a woman! You go Girl!

8 were good , they transfer 2 , but I dont get pregnat

Now I have 6 alredy freeze.

we hope this time we are more luck¡

don´t be very obsesed with the number of ebies, my friend only had 4 , and she got pregnat of twins . And I had 12 and no exit.

Hey Kelly,

Well, I DID feel my ovaries bouncing around in there! I remember feeling really full and I couldn't walk very fast because I could literally feel the ovaries bouncing up and down. It was almost an achy feeling. I was on 5 Gonal-F and 2 Repronex/day. I think they stimmed me so much because of my severe endometriosis. I even had two active cysts on one of my ovaries during the cycle.

Now remember, I only had 11 mature eggs (20 mature size follies, many of them empty, and about 20 small follies) My e2 level was over 8,000. So it's quality over quantity. I was definitely overstimulated and barely escaped OHSS.

I do have two beautiful babies from that experience and I'm wishing all the ladies here good luck. It's worth it!!! It's hard work, from they day you conceive and I will never stop worrying about them. (first getting pg, then it was the pregnancy, now it's other life things) They really are my life. Them and my husband. I just live and breathe for them. If you're interested, I've got tons of photos online:
