elevated liver enzymes...again.....

sooo, my daughter has been having elevated liver enzymes since january (over 100, ast, alt and over 200 alk phos), long story short...we changed cf clinics, and i feel confident we made the right choice. she was put on ursodiol right away at her new clinic (in april) but... i just received news her levels are now, 215 ast, 223 alt and 331 alk phos. my daughter was born with MI and TPN for a few weeks at birth. she doesnt exhibit any "outward" signs such as enlarged liver, or jaundice. she doesnt take any tylenol except on rare occasions for teething and has only taken motrin on one occasion. an ultrasound was performed and small cysts were noted, but no obstructions...im so worried and wondered if anyone has went thru the same thing???

BY the age of about 4 the enzyme levels had reduced to close to normal and have remained that way since. No-one can tell me why they were so high and now are not, but I assume it was the TPN. He has annual ultrasounds which show his liver is slightly enlarged and "bright" (can't recall the more scientific name for this).

He takes Ursofalk (we are in Australia, so probably the same drug, different name). So, at the moment we are hopeful the status quo will remain as he is not having any problems.
