Emily's montage

OK. I am up listenting for a cough or a cry. Emily has strep throat, but now a cough has started, and I suspect I will get little sleep. So, I'm going to attempt to post our montage here. It usually doesn't work for me, so we'll see.

Emily and Isabelle picked the songs this year. Not what I would have picked, (acutally the second one is good) but it was the only way I could make one without really upsetting Emily. She still can't listen to the music from my last one without busting into tears.

The link worked with no problems. You made the song work very well. I think it is a really good montage and shows off who Emily is as a little girl who just happens to have CF.

I find it interesting that Emily is so opposed to it, Alyssa loves watching hers and all the other kids. She's asked to watch yours so many times -- and loves singing to it. I worry more about my boys, who can read, and how they ask questions about what they all say. :/

Raising a child with CF is hard.

When I was working on our new montage, I clicked on the first one we'd ever done, which included photos of the NICU and hospital stay a couple years ago. He got really quiet and touched his tummy and his nose (ng tube). So we opted for peppy music and happier photos.

I love it, Tami. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Emily has enjoyed seeing photos of your Emily in the past (esp since we found out she'd need a gtube) and she loved the video- in large part because of the music. I think Firework was a great song to choose for a happy, vivacious little girl like Emily and it pulls the viewer in as a very good lead-in to the next. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
