He was such a source of inspiration for me. I remember a trip I made shortly after his passing. It was a difficult one, and I was experiencing some anxiety. Jordan & Mason were asleep in the car, and I was driving, and wishing I could turn around and run for home. I prayed that I would find the strength to get through it. The next billboard sign I saw was of Psalm 46:10. Be still and know that I am God. It was a verse that Mockingbird had used once to comfort me. I thought that was amazing, but what happened when I reached my destination was even more amazing.
I arrived at the place we planned to stay. We chose to rent a lake cabin while we were there, and when the lady gave me the key, she said you will be staying in cabin #3; it's called the Mockingbird. I couldn't help but tear up. I knew God had given me all I needed to handle what I had to do.
So yes, I will always remember him. (L)
