Everything goes in her MOUTH!

Emma has not learned how to crawl, instead she is rolling. It is funny. She travel around the floor rolling from her back to stomach then stomach to back.

I have heard over and over from people that infants put everything in their mouths. Well, this was not such an issue until she started moving around on her own.

I keep the floors clean. She plays on a large area rug. I get everything off of the rug that I do not want to to get, but somehow she finds something I miss.

Last night she had the dog's rubber cheese burger in her mouth! I freaked out and probably scared her and the dog!

Sorry... just need to vent!

Ohhhhh... Can she catch something from the dog toy and should I be worried now?

Try not to worry too much. This is a sucky phase in the best of circumstances. But unfortunately kids WILL do gross things. I've always said, long before CF entered our world, that if your kid never puts something in their mouth that absolutely grosses you out, you aren't watching your kid close enough. LOL. (((HUGS)))

Hang in there. Just do your best to keep things she can get to safe and clean. I'd be way more concerned about close contact with a sick child than this, but I totally get the worry.

Thanks! People keep telling me that this is what kids do, but they don't understand that in my mind CF adds alot of extra fears about what germs she is coming into contact with.

Oh well... she is fine today. I thought about it and I think the dog may have given her his toy to play with! lol

We have a 4 pound yorkie and he is pretty scared of the baby. Every time he gets near her she kicks him or pulls his hair. Maybe the toy was a peace offering. lol

I have been going crazy for months now...Are son is now almost 11 months old...and still a "ROLLER". Not a crawler or a walker...All my girlfriends babies are walking now at the 1st b-days..but, not my son. I blame myself because I limited his "tummy time", because of my own fears....No matter how much I clean the floors our dogs bring in "Nature"....What else can we do but let are babies explore, and try are best? I give up..I hate that I watch and freak outinside when family members offer him toys...I think is it clean? Where has that been? How do you calm down?
