I don't know how I missed it when I looked into this 6 months ago but WOW!!! They have a success rate of 53% when it comes to IVF. That is the national average. Plus, one of the three doctors was given the title of "One of the Best Doctors in America for 10 years!!!" Impressive!!! I'm so excited!!! I called my Mom already to tell her the news!!!
I found their site on Saturday, and now I can't wait until Monday to pick up the phone and make a call. They do 2 cycles of tests until they give a diagnosis. I would like to start with my new cycle the end of January so I can start the end of March like I was saying yesterday.
I was actually thinking of maybe driving there and seeing if I could speak to one of the nurses. Their office is located in the Reading Hospital, where I use to be a nurse. Plus, if we use them, all our OB appointments would be in that hospital!!! I am concerned about our insurance policy changes and want to know what charges I'm looking at before I step into anything. I have a $2,000.00 deductible and so does Jake making it $4,000.00. His dealership got cheap with insurance this year. It is a Capital Blue Cross policy but...I know last year it was $250.00 for each of us, and all test were paid for. I hope that is the same...

They are already so much more through than the other clinic. They do a post-coital test, which I know I need, and VALUE charting. They want you to bring in all the charts you have. The other clinic thought charting was "a waste of time". And they felt that a post-coital test was "unnesscary".
The new clinic also considers laproscopies a MUST HAVE for diagnosis. Every patient MUST have one. That might be a problem, but we'll see. Maybe they will surprise me and come up with something. I know that 8 years ago my GYN doctor was going to insert a scope about 2 inches below my breast to first see how the area around my belly button looked to then insert a scope in the belly button for the lap. Last minute, my Mom and Dad said "no" because they were afraid. I was only 9 months past my colon surgery, though, when that suggestion was made.
I am so hopeful! Maybe I"ll actually TRUST this clinic. Maybe I'll get some HARD ANSWERS. I was going over the printable paperwork for their office and couldn't really answer some of the questions about our infertility because I didn't really know the answer!
Please wish my luck!!! Thank you!!!
