Eye ache

Today I have an "eye" ache. I cant call it a headache. It really hurts to push on my eyes, but it hurts even if I dont. Does anyone know what it might be? I thought maybe allergies or I might be tired. Its really weird. Its not hurting near my sinus passages.

I get this alot! I have wondered if I have glaucoma or something but the eye doc didn't seem concerened about it when I told him... It is strange though bc they hurt, so I press on them to relieve pressure and that makes them hurt in the way that it hurts to rub out a sore muscle...does this sound like your symptoms? Sometimes I find myself "stretching them" by opening them really big and then looking as far a I can up, down and side to side. . .

I always just figured it was because I am a weirdo!!!

There are some medications that can cause the pressure in your eyes to go up and hurt. Check with and eye doctor to be sure.

I have the same problem my eyes, they are killing me, the light blinds me and causes me to have halo effect. Most of the time I have a sense of pressure in my eyes.. I know the steroids I take can cause the pressure to go up and in the past I have had high occular pressure.. I am going o n Friday to get it looked at..My eyes are something that I don't want to fool with...

It is odd because whenever I have a problem with something most times I turn on my computer and someone posts what could be my own personal experience...

Putting pressure on them was painful, but yet a relief. Like stated by Anonymous...its like rubbing on a sore muscle. I have a checkup tomorrow so I'll check with my CF doctor before going to the eye doctor. Thanks!

I don't have CF. My 19 year old daughter does but I have recently been diagnosed with bronchiectasis and abpa and I have the same eye problems. I am on prednisolone and a anti fungal drug (V-fend). I have recently had sinus surgery and since then sometimes when I blow my nose or cough, one eye right in the corner feels like it is going to jump out. It was funny the 1st time it happened. I blow my nose and thought the tissue was hitting the corner of my ete, I had to go do it in the mirror and it wasn't that, it was just the pressure. What a weirdo!
As I am reducing the amount of sterois, I think my eyes aren't so bad.
