I love "Chasing Liberty" with Mandy Moore and Matthew Goode I can see this movie again and again. I think the reason why I like this-it reminds of when I was in my twenties and life was so challenging.

I think Mandy is a great actress and will have a long career. Matthew is a real cutie but it was hard to understand the way he spoke.

On a serious note, I liked the movie called "Something the Lord made" starring Mos DEF.

Awesome movie about Vivian Thomas who pioneered the first open heart surgery. You might cry or you might be so glued to the tv that you will forget where you are.

I love Pirates of the Caribbean!!! Johnny Depp is so quirky, Orlando Bloom is so cute, and Keira Knightly kicks butt. Great movie, can't wait for Pirates of the Caribbean II: Dead Man's Chest. I read somewhere that Bootstrap Bill Turner, Will's dad, is back!

On a more frightening note, Captain Barbossa bears a terrifying resemblance to my least favorite teacher, Mrs Lewis, from 7th grade....whiskers and all.....

i apsolutly loveee "Save the Last Dance" with Julia Stiles and Sean Patrick Thomas... i love the whole 'forbiddon love' thing between the two, as well as the fact that Sara (played by Julia Stiles) can go to a whole new city, and become a whole new person...something i've always wanted to do. (and be really good at club dancing like her :p!)

and i also really like Dirty Dancing *the first one, not havana nights*, Girls just wanna have fun *with the young sarah jessica parker*, and Center Stage....are we noticing a theme? i love dance movies, probably making up for my lack of ability to dance *but i still love it!*

hehe...

"A Walk To Remember" w/ Mandy Moore and Shane West (like the most)
"Untamed Heart" w/ Christan Slater

Both have the same concept one is sick, finds a true love who will be there no matter what, passes away feeling loved and happy.

I guess I relate to them (mostly AWTR) because of CF, its what I always wanted...true love, someone who cares for you and loves you reguardless, being happy.

And I found all of thoses things in my hubby <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I've got so many favorites, and they each have a particular meaning for me.
"Dances with Wolves", which reflect upon how SOME Americans learn to accept another culture without bias.
"Back to the Future", had a mind-boggling "What if" about being able to return to my own past!! (What I would have said to that girl I liked, if I knew then what I know now!!)
"X-Men", had one guy, "Wolverine" capable of self-healing, and perhaps ever-lasting life. The other aspect was how the "Normal Humans" treated those who were "Genetically Different", and I kinda went "Hmmm!"
"Dirty Harry", now if I were to become a cop, that's probably one weapon I'd be carrying around!! And, to save some paperwork, just blow them away!! (save on tax money, too, eh?!)
Melissa, you gotta at least get a DVD Player and start renting movies!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
