Green Jello
*high in protein (cottage cheese)
*strengthens bones, high vit c, aids in digestion (pineapple)
Ingredients
2 packages of lime jello (can be sugar free if CFRD)
1-2 cups cottage cheese (any fat % will work)
1 small can crushed or chunk pineapple.
Instructions
Prepare the jello with 2 cups hot water as described on box. Stir well assuring all powder is melted and not on bottom of container. For the 2 cups cold water, start with all the pineapple juice drained from the can and supplement with cold water to make 2 cups. Add to jello. Refrigerate for 1 to 1-1/2 hours and then mix in cottage cheese and pinepple. After 3 hours this healthy snack should be ready to enjoy.
