Hi. I was on the pill and then the patch for 5 years without a problem. We decided to get pregnant so I got off the patch and I was pregnant 4 months later. The fertility issues that some women with CF can have are because the cervical mucus can be thick just like in our lungs. But lots of women with CF get pregnant no problem. There are a few on here that had to do procedures like IUI or IVF but I think they are in the minority (when speaking of all women w/ CF who have babies). If you are worried about not absorbing the pill correctly then you could go for an IUD or the nuva ring. Good luck
