So i have a question

I've had a lungtx.. but am still in need of puffers and am on nebs now too since one week ago.

My FEV1 without anything is about 1.20, with my puffer (Serevent, that a longworking form of Salbutamol) it goes upto about 1.50 at most.

Now with my nebs (Ipramol, a combination of Salbutamol and Ipratropium, aka Combivent) too, it goes up to 1.70!
A 0.50 liter increase, that is soooo much when you look at the 1.20, about 40% more.

Do some of you who have asthma with their CF have this big of a change too?

I never knew that was possible <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Can't say i don't like it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

They've never checked me prior to my morning nebs so I'm not sure what it would be without albuterol, pulmozyme, etc., but I garauntee it would be horrid. I usually can't do deep breaths or breathe out for long until I have a treatment to open me up. So, I KNOW it would effect me quite a bit.
