fevers?????

Can anyone tell me what fevers in cfers mean??

My daughter is sick with a fever again....she was sick in the middle of September with fevers too.

Her clinic appt was only a week ago. Everything was great. She gainned 5.5 lbs, pfts went up, she grew an inch , her chest was clear, etc, etc

When a person gets a fever (CFer or not) they are fighting an infection.

In CFers it can mean that they're fighting a bacteria lung infection.

Call you doctor ASAP! Just because she was clear last week doesn't mean she can't have an infection this week. This is the nature of CF....

It could just mean that she has caught some kind of virus, but if concerned take her to the doc's again.
