Fighting the Gov't

I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting sick of fighting the government for my son's SSI. Julie, you have been extremely helpful with all of this. They declared him presumptively disabled, then came back and said he was denied. They also denied his first appeal. I am in the process of appealing again, but it seems like they want so much that I am in over my head. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe an attorney is the way to go? Any ideas or suggestions?

I don't know much about your situation, but I was told to always appeal appeal appeal, don't ever let the original date get dropped completely by letting the appeal process time run out (because if you do eventually win it, it will go retro active back to the original application date)

Getting an attorney might be a good idea. Beth would be a good choice - she has helped me over the phone for free on an insurance question:
