Hello All,<br>I just got the pleasure of meeting with anutritionist for the first time, but I had a tough time. I have major digestive issues, like using the bathroom 2ce a month issues, but my doctor has been against putting me on enzymes. She instead changed my diets to foods that are easier to process i.e. no high fructose corn syrup,no processed sugars, etc. It's been going ok but not as great as I should be. So I went to the nutritionist and the first thing she did was put me on an over the counter food enzymes called nature's sunshine. Has anyone used these before? She also gave me flax oil to try and told me to take 2 tbsps a day. Has anyone tried to care for their cf a natural way like this? I'm kind of skeptical but want your opinions!

the only "natural" supplement i've been recommended for digestive problems is yogurt with probiotics in it. like activia. mind you, this is in addition to enzymes. why on earth is your dr. against giving you enzymes??

Umm, yeah, I'm with Incomudrox here.
If you have a CF diagnosis and any GI issues, standard enzymes should be tried. Is this a CF clinic doc?

I'm not totally clear regarding your issue. Are you majorly constipated or loose as a goose?
(sorry, my mother's phrase......how these things come back to haunt us)
