Flovent and Albuterol Questions

We just started my son on Albuterol and Flovent about a week ago. The last three nights he has been peeing the bed like crazy. He's almost 9, but since he's hooked up to his Pediasure/pump all night he wears pull-ups, but this is far more than the pull-ups can handle - even soaked through the two bed pads I put under his butt last night. Is this a side effect of the steroid in Flovent? I checked their website and they mention diarrhea, but I can't see anything about excessive peeing? Anyone have a similar problem with these meds?

Flovent and albuterol aren't systemic medicines - meaning they don't go anywhere in the body except for the lungs (and maybe a tiny, tiny bit in teh blood stream). So it probably isn't those drugs.

Have you had him tested for diabetes? Pediasure could really set his diabetes off if he has it and cause the increase in urination....

That's what I love about this site - I learn something new everyday, I didn't realize those drugs stay in the lungs (makes perfect sense though now that I think about it).He was tested for Diabetes in November, but I'll call on Monday and get him re-tested.
