My son got his flu shot yesterday (seasonal) this is the first one he has had. he has no known allergies. this afternoon he started to develop a rash, looks like prickly heat on his feet legs and hands. is this normal? anything to help it?

I haven't heard of this being a common problem, but if I were you I would just watch it really close. If it doesn't go away or gets worse in the next couple of days, I would call your doctor's office.

Waiting on a call back from the on call doc now. just noticed it. He had no immediate reaction, but now a little over 24hrs later, he has this rash..the rash he has developed appears worse at the site. no complaints of pain, but some itching.

amazed to find this topic. my son has flu jab last monday. on wednesday started running high fever and broke out in rash and also started vomitting . nearest doctor could say was that it looked like rubella. ( but we had him vaccinated previously for rubella so it remains a mystery of sorts)after 3 days rash has begun to dispapear. we continue to monitor fever, push fluids and are in regular contact with the cf team.
