Fog effects at theater

Does "Fog Effects" = light sedation ??
What sort of procedure is your daughter having done?
I have had Versed and Fentanyl a couple of times with no ill effects. I was still able to cough and clear mucus as one does not have to be intubated for light sedation. If you could provide drug and procedure names, you'll get more feedback I'm sure.

Good queston, I have wondered this my self. Some shows or rides at the 'Florida theme parks' make use of these fog effects. Also, the mist used at some of these shows as well. I am sure its not a sterile water mist. :)

It could. It's one of 2 things: An atomized oil, which could become contaminated with bacteria, or its dry ice, which is frozen carbon dioxide. Either way as long as you don't have your face in it it the whole time, you should be fine.

I just recently went to a concert that had a fog machine on the stage and coughed SO HARD. However, I've never had that happen before, so maybe it was just that time?? I've wondered about this as well, but like I said, I've never had a problem till recently.
