For the Ladies

I know I've seen this mentioned before, but after 3 unsucessful searches I thought I'd start my own thread.

Has it been mentioned before that some of you start your monthly cycle earlier when on IVs??? I'm sure I saw this someplace.

Here's my scoop...I started (I think) 3 days early and am currently on IVs. However, I'm also on blood thinners & they said to watch for this & that & of course blood coming from anyplace is something to report.

I go in for a blood test this a.m. and will ask then, but thought I'd throw this ? out there for you ladies

Thanks!

I've never had that experience. Sometimes when I have my period, I'll cough up blood. But that's usually it.
Sorry I couldn't help.

My period was never regular at all, especially when I was on IV's. My problem was that I was constantly late or sometimes I would get it every two weeks. It was all messed up! I would even miss periods on occasion (which is why I didn't know that I was pregnant until I was 9 weeks along).

Now that I am healthy since the Tx, my periods are very regular (every 25 days) and a lot heavier than they ever used to be. I asked the doctor about this and she said that it is because I am healthier an no longer on so many IV's (none at all actually).

MIne is usually on time whether or not i am on iv's. I tend to have some hemoptysis difficulties sometimes and low blood sugars at the time, but that's about it.
