For those who have been on denufosol

Hi guys,


I know several of you have been on denufosol (or your child has).

I'm wondering if you could tell if you were on placebo or not? And did you turn out to be correct?

I'm pretty sure I'm on the drug, but of course, I'm curious to know how everyone else felt.

Hi,
My daughter age 5 has been on the Study Tiger II drug for about a week. I think she is also on the actual drug?!? The very first time she inhaled the drug she coughed and coughed and coughed. She seems more congested her throat is hoarse and coughs a bit more. My hope is that she is moving things around and will cough up all that mucus that has been laying around. She never ever coughs unless something is going on with her?? I called the research tech and he seemed to think that the cough should be decrease which it has slowly?? He also said that one of his study patients within the first month coughed up casts of his lungs! Brinly has been on hyper tonic saline 7%. She never coughed on it so my gut is that this new cough must be a good sign and that she must be on t he actual drug!

What about you? Do you cough alot more?

Ya I coughed a lot more but I also felt more tight.

I coughed up blood on Sat and I have since discontinued the medicine. I may resume soon but I'm not sure.....

We actually tasted and could smell a difference in the actual medication. With placebo there is no taste or smell, with the actual study med it had a pungent taste and different odor. We had placebo first six months and true drug last six months. That is how we could tell.
