I always feel like Tobi "numbs" me when I use it. An example is if I feel like I am really irritated, maybe bronchitis in nature, and have been coughing I can take tobi and it goes away. Of course I have noticed that it also keeps me from coughing even when I need to. Now that I am doing hypertonic saline and have been really "focusing" on coughing I have decided to do all of my other neb meds at a different time than Tobi.



Has anyone else noticed this????

Many people have bronchial spasm from Tobi. It sounds like something to this affect his happening with you.

I take Tobi. On one month and the next off, so on. I havent been taking it because I realized that it makes me cough even more! I told my doctor about it but she didnt say anything bout it.

I take Tobi and it seems as tho, to me it makes one side of my chest feel sore and it does this for maybe a week if not that long. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0"> then Im fine for the rest of the days im on Tobi.

I am on TOBI nebs one month on one off..when I do take them, the first week I tend to cough more, so I use more Xopenex for that and my throat is irritated then too. After that first week, I am okay as well. Hugs, Jenn <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I take Tobi and about 15 minutes after I am done nebbing it, I get this choking feeling in my throat and I start to cough my head off..Drinking fluids helps me and stops the choking.... Sometimes I get a real hoarse voice from it as well.. but so far it is doing a good job at keeping the pseduo at bay...
