We made the headline story this Saturday, about the mould and damp problem in our rented house. The headline is ''Damp home could kill my wee boy'', its maybe a bit strong in its content as it focuses on the worst possible outcome, but it is a possible outcome none the less.

Hopefully the ''council'' will get their finger out now and do something about this, it says a council spokesman says that they will be contacting us as a matter of urgency. Pity then they didn't take this attitude last week when they failed to return my 6 phonecalls to various 'council ' persons.

I will try to get the article on line for you all to see, it has a good photo of me and the boy.

Hi Craig,

I just have a question about the mould issue in your home.
Where is it situated in your home? How much mould do you get/have? and why?

Just curious?

As, we alos have a little mould and dampness in our house. Well actually, its downstairs opposite our garage towards the doorway leading under the house.
Right under our staircas.

Is it still dangerous for Olivia? as she is not in direct conact with it?

So, its lead me to think about maybe getting in touch with the person that built the place and getting him tp fix the problem as it should not be happening in the first place.

I mean the place is newly built, and is only 4 yrs old. It's a Duplex home and our neighbour has also had the same problem.

Any information would be great. You can PM me if you like.

Thanks in advance.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
