Hi my name is Teresa. I have a six year old son that was recently diagnosed with CF this past feburary. Does any one know what i can do to raise money to help out with medical expenses or who i can turn to for help? Any information would be very helpful.

I'm not sure as we are VERY FORTUNATE to have great insurance. But I know the social worker on our CF team handles questions like that. Hopefully you have one available, if not maybe your Doctors can lead you in the right direction!

Hi Theresa and welcome. It is so overwhelming to have to even think about the expenses on top of your child's health isn't it??? Have you looked into state run programs, if your income isn't that high, you could qualify. But, there are alot of programs out there. Here are some links that might help you get started:
