I am a 20 year old female who has a boyfriend with CF, his sister also has CF and is getting a lung transplant in the near future. I am a college student who is part of an organization that does a great deal of community service. This semester we are hosting Relay for Life, a walk for the American Cancer Society. I was wondering if there is any large scale fundraisers, such as Relay For Life, that I could get my group, and college involved in. I'm in the Syracuse, NY area, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be really interested.

Hi, there is a Walk for a Cure sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They are located all over the country. It happens in the spring every year. To find the chapter in your area go to www.cff.org. It is a great organization and they do numerous charity events every year. Good luck.
