Gallbladder

Hi Amy, I had my gallbladder out a long time ago and have never had a problem since. I have never had a new feeling like that, the excrutiating pain of gallstones, again. I don't want to scare you, but for me I did have a new dull pain over this past Christmas, and I ended up having kidney failure. I don't know if it could be symptoms of gallbladder surgery issues or not, I wouldn't know. I do know that kidney falure is in approximately the same area and I felt very "tender" in areas of my stomach as well, tender to touch and it kind of felt like when I walked my insides were bouncing up and down and felt unstable. I think the main thing with kidney failure though, is whether you ever feel the tenderness or dull pain go around to the right side of your lower back? If so, you should get checked out for kidney levels, which is a blood test.

Good luck, I hope it's nothing, you never know! Maybe just a virus.

Oh, and another thought about kidney issues, just in case......you would end up feeling slightly nausiated (possibly throw up) and very tired most of the time. Like you could sleep for most of the day when usually that's not your MOD.

My Aunts, Linda and Denise Ryan, used to babysit you when you were younger. My mother is their older sister, Susan.

In fact, I think you were in the same class as Amy Ferrinbocker (sp?). My parents live next door to her parents.

You were the 1st person my mom thought of when I was diagnosed with CF when I was 6 months old - because she knew her sisters babysit a young girl (You were 8 at the time) with CF.
