Has anyone found out how hot these "sterilizers" get????? I know there is a certain temp you need to get to to kill off pseudo etc.
How many nebs can you fit in each one???
Can you put the pari masks, bubble masks and the little blue "things" in them ????
To those with 2 CFers how do clean their nebs???? Do you keep everything seperate, when they are dirty and when they are clean???? How do you know whose neb is who's?????
Thanks,
Missa

I always make sure to keep everything separate - down to juice cups, which may be a little much. It's double duty, but I keep meds in separate areas, I label bags with inhalers, masks, etc with their names on them when storing them. I'm a little over the top maybe, but my seven year old has tested pos PA, and my three year old hasn't, so I guess I go to the extreme.

I have two with cf as well. It takes some work to keep their nebs apart from one another. I label with a permanent pen their neb cups and use different sterilizers. I also clean them on different sides of the kitchen which seems to help me from getting them mixed up. I put all of their neb parts in the sterilizer. We use the Avent Bottle Sterilizer. I would love to know if it gets hot enough. I do not keep their own cups, forks, etc. My dishwasher supposedly sterilizes. Just hoping that does the job. My son has cultured pseudomonas for 4 yrs and my daughter has not cultured it.
Sharon, mom of Sophia, 7 and Jack, 5 both with cf

Although my boys have their own separate neb cups, I do wash them together. First in soapy water, rinse, then boil in the microwave. I dry them together in the germ guardian.

I figure the boiling will kill whatever is there.

-Someone posted about the temperature of the GG- I think it was Liza?
