I know I know- there's a big difference from Myrtle Beach to The Dominican.

I talked to my friends and my travel agent and we decided that if we're going, we're going big! (it <i>is</i> my birthday after all) After looking into cheapcaribbean.com we found that an all-inclusive punta cana resort would cost us the same or less than flight/car/hotel/food/drinks in Myrtle Beach. hmmm

Has anyone been there? Can anyone recommend a resort?

i have to say the dominican is significantly better than myrtle!!!! ok, i've never been to punta cana but i have been to an all inclusive resort and it is the way to go! so awesome....

I seen this and got goose bumps- I am going to Punta Cana on 4/25 thru 5/2 and am soooo excited. We are going for our anniversary. We are doing the all inclusive and staying at the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort & Spa. We found a better deal on www.applevacations.com than on any other website and believe me my husband and I spent probably over 15 hours together looking for the best deals. The neat thing is the week before 4/20 thru 4/24 we will be in Las Vegas (my husband has to work there and I am going along) so we have a 2 week vacation!!! I am so ready to get out of here.......
