I am happy that you won that battle~! Sometimes they make it so hard, sounds like you have been through the wringer with this one. Congrats, now that is one less thing to worry about.
Do you have continuing problems with your clinic? If so, maybe you should look into switching if it is feasible. You know your body best and the doctors should respect that.. If you say it is time for IV's, then it is time. What usually convinces them that you need a cleanout? Do they look at labs, sputum cultures instead of the whole picture (which would include how you feel in general)? Some docs are like that, they look at the paper and not the patient and that's unfortunate.
I would nag them until they give in...be a pain in the a--. If you get nowhere, switch centers if it can be done.

Thinking of you, I hope you feel better.

Hi Betty,
I am glad to hear you got ok'd for disability ! Ppl say to me "you are lucky to be able to stay home & get disability" & I say to them, "I would rather have my health like you, & go to work !" I also say,"taking care of myself is my full time job"
As far as your dr. listening to you, is he/she the only cf dr in your area?? I dont think anyone would want to go into hosp if they truly didnt feel they needed it ..
Hope you feel better <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> joni

Betty:

I just changed CF Centers because my Doctor wasn't listening to me. It is not easy to make a change but sometimes it is necessary.
