Just wanted to share the good news with all of you that I'm celebrating another birthday and made it to 37!! (Yesterday - Jan 5th) Yea me! My b-day present was getting an offer on our house (been for sale since Aug) from people who are pre-qual'd and want to close in two weeks! WooHoo!
Been a heck of year...finding out about having CF and all!!! It was a year ago tomorrow (Jan 7th) that I visited Club Med for a 2 week stay with my 4 lobe pneumo....then had 6 weeks on home IV antibiotics....which I only had to do one other time this year (in Sept).
Might have to go in for another stay at Club Med soon...but I made an entire year without having to make another trip to club med, which was my goal!!!! But now my pfts are declining, my blood sugars are going up by the day, my phlegm production is increasing by the hour, my legs are swelling, and I'm getting sooooo tired.....think I might have the big P again....sucks!!!!
But....I'm still here...still fighting....still waiting on my Quest results (should have them on the 23rd)...and still waiting to do my interview the Denver Post on Adult Diagnosis....should be next week sometime...with the article appearing late Jan or early Feb!
