Has anyone ever had a cyst?

Hi I found out a few months back that I had had a cyst on my sinus when I was young, (as in <i>cystic</i>fibrosis) They told me that it was pretty rare for people with cf to actually get cysts like that, just wondering has anyone else ever had this?

I dont think I have, but I do have a question about yours. When this was discovered with you, was it noticed by you or during an exam? Was it tender to the touch, but not necessarily visible from the outside? I tend to get these little bumps in my nasal cavity that hurt like hell when I touch them. I always chalked it up to being just a pimple under the skin which I get once in a while on my chin. The one I am questioning was right where you would push to relieve sinus pressure. Mine always seem to go away. I have never addressed it with a doctor, but it makes me wonder........

I had mine when I was three. My parents noticed first because when they looked at me closey my eyes were slightly unaligned, only slightly though. My doctor at the time dismissed it but three months later it was very obvious something was wrong. My eye could barely open and looked rather swolen. I dont recall if there was any tenderness or sensitivity.

I've never had nasal polyps, so Im not sure but maybe that could be what you have. Are these 'pimples', do they affect you're breathing thru the nose? Maybe you should ask your doc the next time, or someone else on here may be able to help!
