"Healthy" Teens

Hey I am 16 and I have CF but I'm pretty healthy. I have a really mild case of Cf. Its really hard to understand and deal with everything. I have no one to talk to that truely understands what I am going through. I know family and friends try to understand but they dont live it. Is there anybody that would like to talk about things?

I'm in the same exact boat as you hun <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. I'm 17 (2 weeks until 18th bday <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">) and am freakishly healthy for a CF patient. I've never, ever met someone else with CF so it can be iscolating at times.

That is so cool, I'm really excited now. I feel really bad when I walk in the hospital bc I feel fat compared to the animated toothpicks aka cf patients and they look super sick and I super don't. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Oh I know, story of my life. Being a girl it's like a mixed blessing. I've always found it hard to associate the more negative aspects of this disease with myself because I just don't see those things in my life. Yet. I remember as a kid I fought the vest so hard because I was perfectly healthy and it did nothing for me.

Me too I hate the vest and I can hardly ever understand why I need all the mess because I feel healthy , and I hardly ever see girls with CF. I think I might have seen 1!
