I had boy/girl twins and my boy's heart rate was always higher than the girl's. So it's just an old wive's tale. It probably works about 50% of the time! It's fun to guess the sex, isn't it? I had a dream about my friend's baby the night before her ultrasound last week and I was so sure it was a boy. But it's a girl! Go figure.

As a Medical Assistant, I would say it sounds like a girl.
Girl - 140 and up
Boy - 130 and under
130 - 140 ify
However, we CFers are on meds that alter our heartrate like Albuterol. These also rev up the baby's heartrate. So my honest answer would be that you probably wouldn't know unless you did an ultrasound or waited until birth. There are other factors too that affect the baby's heartrate like being overweight or really many other medical conditions. Good luck and Congrats!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
