Hemoptisis but pfts are better than ever help!!!!

I am at my new center admitted as we speak. On Friday I had a mucus plug and my nose started bleeding. An hour later I had coughed up3-4 tablespoons of blood. Went home. Felt great considering that day I had ran a mile and a half. The past two nights again blood. Got admitted. All blood levels are ok. Chest X ray is same no change, pfts are higher than last. Normally my pfts are 1.98 today was 2.08 so great pfts. The running has definately helped.. Now if everything seems to be checking out fine what could be wrong?? My nebs are xopenex, hyper tonic saline (could this be it??) pulmozyme and colliston. They have told me not to do VEST for a bit out of fear it could open the bleed back up but other than feeling a cold I am great.. Any one got any suggestions??

How much blood are we talking?

It could be the HTS or Pulmozyme. BUT I have also found in MY expereince that sometimes there is just an area that things lets loose. This is why I am asking how much blood we are talking.

Often times after have hemoptysis I feel a lot better. Although I have never done a PFT to long after any bleeds for fear of aggrivating it. It makes sense to me.

Are you on colistin to treat infections or as a maintenance med?

I am on collyston as a maitenence. I do two times pulmozyme a day and hypertonic saline twice a day. It has been running about 3-4 tablespoons. Last night it was bright red for 3 mins then brown. I am so confused which one to give up..
