Hemorrhoids and CF

Each time for the last few weeks when my DD has a bowel movement she complains that it hurts inside. There is no irritation that we can see on the outside so we called CF clinic and they said it might be hemorrhoids but I don't see anything on the outside and I haven't see any blood. They told us that it is common with CF. They told us to take her to her regular pediatrician. Does anyone have experience with this issue? Thanks.

It's so hard to tell what kids mean when they're so young. Maybe her stomach hurts and she's saying that it hurts on the inside because of that...?

I do know that hemorrhoids are very common in CF because of the difficulties we have with BM's, so that very well could be a possibility. I don't believe that internal hemorrhoids hurt, although I could be wrong.
