I know that many people use herbal suppliments. I personally don't, but I would recommend talking about them with your doctor because they can have serious interactions with your other meds.

I have never heard of herbal "meds"-to me there's meds, and then there's herbal supplements. I consider herbs and vitamins a supplement to my health routine, but there's no substitute for meds. They have a vital place in cf care.

I eat healthy, but I wouldn't say-I eat tons of spinach every day and that's how I care for myself, duh. To me, its the same with herbs and health shakes. They're a valuable addition though.

I personally feel that nothing with health care should ever be written off entirely. For me, that goes for meds and doctor's suggestions, along with nutrition and supplements.
