I'm wondering if someone rose that spool up from the dead, or something, because I didn't post in it for a long time!!
BUT, thanks for noticing, because I did get a job last November, after a long seven months of unemployment.
I finally made my three month trial period, so I'm in the clear as far as I know!
As of last month, I also had started teaching English, though it's not an English teaching job I'm in.
The company has been very kind to me (I even got a portion of their winter bonus and only worked there one month!!), even with an agreement to give me the income I wanted when I started.
However, there's a lot of Frenchmen here, who don't seem to have a good grasp of the English language, so I'm very tempted to study some French, along with my German (I've always wanted to learn German, but seem to always come across French speaking people!)
The company was originally from Germany, so there are some documents in German, and the company president used to speak fluent German, and speaks fluent English, now.
One thing I do hope is that because the company has an office in the States, it may be my ticket back in the future...fingers crossed!

Which was good, because the company I was at for 14 years was found by the X, so I have no idea what kind of lies she said, other than I had a Bachelor's degree, even though I didn't! Kinda scarry when you think of what kind of damage might be done for misinformation. So, I got out for that reason, as well as having the worst Jerk-of-a-boss in the world! And, some laime co-worker to go with it! This other guy in the same division never made any conversation with me, and I even had to find out from the office girl in the division that the guy was gone for a week because he went on his honeymoon! I didn't even know he got married!!!
Anyway, so far this job is going well.
