hey i have a question

hi all im new here.  i myself do not have cf but my fiance and
soon to be sweet wife christie does have cf and cfrd. she is 19 and
also has a brother that has cf..   now to the question i
was talking to her and she was telling me that her dr. keeps
bringing up this shot that she could get that would keep her from
havint to take her cf meds for a year.  the problem is that
the shot is a butt load of money and she doesnt have it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">  .
 i was wondering if any of u know what this shot is.  i
am trying to figure out the cost and see if i have anywheres near
the cash to pay for it and suprise her at christmas time with it.
 sorry if this long its just i really really love her and hate
seeing her in pain and having to go in the hosptial so much.

Granted each CFer is different & their care varies, but this is too general of a statement IMHO to be accurate. You might want to find out more info on this. Do to the different factors that affect a CFers health continuous maintenance cant be obtained in such a form!

I have also never heard of such a shot. Maybe its a certain med for a certain symptom? Find out some more about it, and let us know what you learn please. But I wuoldn't get your hopes too high, it sounds too good to be true! (And if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, in my opinion)
