Hey Julie,
I was just curious on how you guys were doing on the baby thing? My husband and I are still in the waiting period, still tryiing to decide if we want to put ourselves in big time debt!!! SO i was just curious if you guys were still going through it?! I have had all the tests done and he had his so they are just waiting on us! Now that I have had time by myself (while he went to Thailand!) I had lots of time to think about the situation, and I still very much want to go through with it! We were having some problems over this situation but now everything has cooled down and I am looking forward to talking with Rob and seeing where we stand!!! I just went to the docs yesterday and I had cought a cold from my mom and so i was a little worried that my doc was going to put me in.. But I did my pfts and they are still at 37% which i have been at/around for the past 6months... Before this I couldnt stay out of the hosp. for more than 3weeks so to be out for the past 4months and still going strong even with a cold, I am showing Rob that I can take care of myself if I just put my all into it!! I really want to have a family and i know he does too.. SHowing him that I CAN take care of myself and that I realy want to help myself out I think that its helped him decide what he want to do!!! So good luck to me!!! ANyways, I just wanted to see how you guys were doing!!!

Hi Julie,
Sorry to bring up such a hard subject!!! I understand where you are coming from!!(except on the other end!!!) Anyways, I havnt talked to ROb yet but man... I hope that things work out and we can have a family! I hope that you get stationed in Wa!! Where at in Wa would you be stationed? Do they have a huge waiting line for IVF? THat is where my family is from and that would be great if i could get on the list over there! Okay well, I have to let you go and get my Pizza out of the oven!!! More junk food!! Keep your head up! There are reasons for everything and things wil happen if they should! THanks for chatting wiht me!!!

Cariann, don't be sorry! It's been very helpful to actually talk about it. Besides, I think it's something beneficial to put on the website. Some people have fairytale stories of how well their IVF went, and I have to admit, I am jealous-but am happy for them. Then there are others of us who run into road block after road block after road block! I think it's important for people to know of the difficulties so #1, they can try to avoid them by learning from others mistakes, and #2, so they realize that if they too run into problems-they aren't alone.

I can't remember if it's Mchord airforce base or madigan army hospital that has an infertility clinic-can't remember. I have the info at work and I can tell you on Monday. We are going to get a referral from our S.D doctor (If I get orders to WA) so all we have to do is wait for the IVF list, we don't have to wait to actually "get in" for a consult because we have already done all that. I hope all goes well for you, keep me updated!
