Just wanted to say hi to everybody. Was dx'd at age 35 due to bilateral absence of the vas deferens which led to a positive sweat test and gene tests. Hopkins said they'd never seen someone in as good of a condition as me at my age. I only have minimal small airway damage, very mild oesteopenia. My mutations are DeltaF508 and 1178C>T. They said they didn't really know anything about 1178. When I google it I don't get anything about CF, just some stuff about that 1178C>T in TARDBP-Related Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis which is bizarre. I don't think 1178C>T in the CF gene would have anything to do with other disease conditions, right?
Anyway, hi everybody.
Anyway, hi everybody.
