Hello everyone.Im new and I would like to ask you all a question and see if anyone can help.I have a 12yr old daughter with cf and I have tried getting some assistance for her but we have been denied so many times because of our income level. She hasn't been well for a while and we just got released from the hospital yesterday and on 3 to 4 weeks of IVs.Even with my husbands insurance we still have lots of expenses.Does anyone have any idea where I can call.She has been denied SSI because of what we make so please if anyone can help steer me in the right path I would appericate it. Thanks

I wonder if the lower-middle income people have it even rougher with these type of things than the other imcome brackets. We make just over the maximum allowed for SSI, but not near enough money to cover all of the deductibles, co-pays, prescriptions, etc. w/o assistance.
Ask the social worker at your CF Clinic. They usually are well versed on assistance options available to CF patients.
