man this baby sure likes to move!! i'm 21 weeks and he just moves all the time. i can sit down and look down and raise my shirt and watch my stomach and see him moved. i've also noticed that it's more comfortable to either sit kinda like reclined or be on my side completely. has anyone else noticed that? i'm not big, but i feel like i'm a blimp. my mom's so excited. she's actually going to come up and see me before i go home for my baby shower cause she can't stand it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">. i'm excited. half way there!! yeah!!

Just wait 'til he digs his toes into your rib cage, then you'll really be saying Holy Cow. LOL. I absolutely cannot wait to feel the baby kick. I still have about another month or more before I feel anything. Enjoy every moment!

It's amazing, isn't it? Amelia was so active that we have no clear ultrasound pics of her. Yes, reclining and side sleep become more comfortable as the pregnancy moves up and puts pressure on your ribs/lungs/other organs. If I ever have another pregnancy I'll buy a recliner to sleep in for the last trimester.

Congrats on being halfway through, soon enough you will be far enough along to have a shower, do the nursery, etc. So much fun.

Ah feeling them move - love it! I have felt a few flutters but I have an anterior placenta so it will muffle any movements right now except on the sides - and that is where I feel baby at times. Sometimes I can place my hand on my tummy and feel a little squirming but I only feel it with my hand - not actually inside of me, if that makes sense. I first felt Logan with my hand at 16 weeks and felt him inside at 17 weeks.

One note about reclining - it doesn't matter at all now, but close to your due date, reclining is actually bad for getting baby into a good position for birth. If baby isn't positioned well, it can lead to bad back labor (which I had) among other things including a more difficult birth.
