How do you give/take enzymes when tube feeding at night?

Hi

So we've been trying to give 1 x tube feed (gravity feed) to our 3 year old at night, but have to wake her up so she can take her enzymes, which is so traumatic for her. She gets SO upset.

If anyone else is in a similar situation, please could you give me a little insight as to how you give enzymes to a small child? It's all quite new for us so we're still learning!

Thanks
Caro

Talk with the dietician, you may be able to dose at the beginning and in the morning when the feeding is done. She may do ok without dosing half way through. It's worth a call to your ditician. Good luck

You can also grind some up and add them to the feed. People will tell you're not supposed to crush or grind them, but that's only true when you're taking them orally.
