Currently I fly from the Cayman Islands up to Toronto, a good 4hr flight if direct and obviously all the luggage to pack and possible hotel expense if the timing is off for me to get to stay with family. Needless to say unfortunately I just can't go as often as I should, quite a bit of red tape involved as far as my insurance goes etc. I'd like to switch to Miami or Tampa or somewhere like that so if anyone knows of good clinics there please let me know. OT - Incomudrox, what kind of car/engine is that in your pic? Looks to be supercharged, seems your a gear head like me also, I have a Hyundai Tiburon that I turbo charged myself.</end quote> Wow I think you have everyone beat in the how far do you travel contest! I don't envy you on that at all. The car is a 550+ hp (430WHP) FWD S/C'd buick regal gs. It was a build I did for a customer of mine. Has a large cam, stage 3 heads, intercooler, headers, and much much more. Custom tune I did open loop. Car has a lot more done but that's the major stuff. I mainly work on 3800 S2 cars (GM wbodies.) I can work on anything though. Before I demodded and sold my grand prix it was around 550whp turbo'd heads, T67 large nasty cam. Now I've moved to the import side you may say. I have a 04 350Z base model automatic which I am contemplating swapping a LSx into with a Sikky racing kit. I've also got a 03 350Z black touring edition as a beater. M6 and trust me it's BEAT!</end quote>
Nice! Yeah I do all my tuning as well and force open loop when I hit 3psi boost the run my tune from there on- only turbo charged Tiburon here so nobody here will have a clue what to do to make it run reliably, reason I say that is because it's all stock motor which the car comes high compression NA from factory. I've got a secondary fuel rail with an extra 4 injectors supplying for boost, others wise off boost driving the stock ECU does it's thing as normal. That's the gist of it in a nutshell without getting into too much technical stuff.
But anywho, everyone else here is probably like, "huh?!" so back to topic for those who want to join the farthest commute contest <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> I could talk car all day.
