How many dry runs did you have before transplant?

I was listed 7-19-07 and have had two dry runs. They were 6 days apart and since the last one it has been two weeks, so just curious on how many dry runs you guys had prior to the big day for those who are listed and has had a tx. Thanks!

I was another lucky one and did not have any dry runs either. My first call was a perfect match and things have worked out great.

I do know many people at my center that have had 2 dry runs - very few 3 - so normally by the 4th call (at my center) the patient is transplanted.

Good Luck and I hope the waiting goes by quickly for you and you are breathing with a new set of lungs soon.
