My son got the synagis shot last year and I just heard back from the ped. that insurance gave the okay for this year too!

We vaccinate, so personally I don't see the harm in getting the synagis shot if insurance is willing to pay. Now last year, even if ins. didn't pay we would have paid out of pocket for the vaccination!

Don't fell bad though.....I'm sure you little one will make it through the winder untouched by RSV!!!!!!!

He was just diagnosed with CFRLD about two months ago and boy did it fell like another bomb had been dropped right on my head, ugh! I guess I never thought of the possibility, especially with such a low percentage of CFers who actually have CFRLD. His diagnosis was found/made during, and still on going, round of extensive testing to figure out his ongoing chronic digestive issues! For now, she (doc) said there isn't much she can do except, keep a close eye on him through ultrasound, routine visits, blood work, and with some help of medication. If I have learned one thing about this disease, it sure can throw a lot of curve balls at ya!
